Carl Cox with „Music is Revolutions“ sets the longest season at Space

Earlier this year, one of Ibiza’s biggest nights got even bigger as Carl Cox and Safehouse Management announced ‘Music Is Revolution’ at Space, Ibiza, with a host of new changes including two additional nights for summer 2014.

Since then, Carl and his team have been working hard putting the finishing touches to this season’s mouth-watering line-ups and we can now finally reveal the final wave of DJs playing for week’s 10-14.

In addition, we can also confirm Space’s iconic Covered Terrace will be taken over by Umek’s revered 1605 label on September 9th and by Josh Wink’s well respected Ovum imprint, who are celebrating a landmark 20 years in the game, on September 16th.

Joining Carl from 26th August – 23rd September across Space’s Discoteca and Covered Terrace will be: Sweden’s techno icon Adam Beyer, Argy, Germany’s much loved Ben Klock, Ben Sims, Cassy, Davide Squillace, the house gangster himself DJ Sneak, Elio Riso, Gianni Callipari, Guti (Live), Intec’s co-leader Jon Rundell, Joseph Capriati, Josh Wink, Just Be (Bushwacka!), Kink (Live), Desolat’s Head Honcho Loco Dice, Lucca, Cadenza’s mastermind Luciano, Matthias Tanzmann, Mirko Loko, techno lady of the moment Nicole Moudaber, Sébastien Léger, The Martinez Brothers, tINI, Umek, Uto Karem and Liverpool’s house music legend Yousef.

Natasha Watts with an uplifting, soulful house groove titled ‘Fabulous’

Fledgling London label Rival Beat Records continue to ramp up momentum, revealing their new collaboration from Beat Rivals and UK Soul Natasha Watts, with an uplifting, soulful house groove titled ‘Fabulous’. Beat Rivals (aka Soulshy and Krazy K) each provide their own takes, with Soulshy delivering a classy soulful affair, laced with warm piano vibes, jazzy brass stabs and a funky bassline, whilst production partner Krazy K turns out a cool, percussive deep edged groove with a popping bassline. Both fans of live music, Beat Rivals turn out a sublime ‘Live Groove’, armed with a powerful deep bass hook, which also sees the appearance of Soulshy’s new drum kit, before they turn up the dance floor pressure with a 90’s flavoured ‘Uptempo Groove’.

The Garden Festival begins

Garden Festival, credit: Tim ErtlWith just under a month to go until The Garden Festival begins, some final guests have been added to the 9th edition of Croatia’s founding music festival, nestled on the beautiful Dalmatian coastline in Tisno.

First up, Garden favourite Theo Parrish will make a welcome return to the festival and this time he is not alone with Teddy’s Get Down, playing a live set with full band for the first time in 10 years. He is bringing a brilliant quartet of support around him for his new show, featuring Amp Fiddler on keys, Akwasi Mensah on bass, Duminie DePorres on electric guitar and ex-Electric Wire Hustle member Myele Manzanza.
