Australian band QPD joins The Beatclub for a special Easter Rock Concert
The Australian band QPD has just arrived in Sofia, Bulgaria and they are already in the rehearsal room practicing and getting ready for an intense club tour. The talented musicians will make their first public appearance at the special Easter Rock Concert The Beatclub.
QPD is a rock pop duo that blends acoustic and pop sensibilities to give everybody something to relate to. They draw their inspiration from the likes of Matchbox 20, Keith Urban, John Mayer and classic Australian acts such as Cold Chisel. QPD deliver a fresh and unique pop rock experience filled with haunting sonic soundscapes, engaging stories, revealing lyrics and refreshingly melodic ideas. The founding members Kyle Pearce(vocals / guitar) and Miles Baulch (guitar) started playing shows throughout Sydney and regional areas and quickly built a loyal fan base with their distinctive sound. Now based in Düsseldorf, Germany QPD are spreading their music throughout Europe.
The Easter Rock Concert is just the beginning for the club tour of the bright newcomers. The guys are accompanied by Simeon Chakarov (bass guitar) and Kiril Iliev (drums ) who will be guest musicians during QPD’s upcoming club tour.
QPD is joining The Beatclub, Ivan Milev, Pavel Vasev (Monolit), Toni Chembara (Monolit), Petar Georgiev, Petar Karaspasov, Anton Serkedgiev (Delta Roosters), Borsi Serginov and Todor Mirchev from Bobo, Tosho and Tabakoff and many more for the Special Easter Rock Concert. The event will take place at 19:30 on April 7th 2012 (Saturday) at Vlaikova Cinema, Sofia. Entrance fee: 8 BGN leva.
