Chicago’s amazingly talented Peven Everett reveals his latest single, ‘Black Boy’, produced by Mark Stone & Terry Lex for UDM Show Records. Delivered with lyrical honesty and a heartfelt vocal performance, Peven reflects on his trials and tribulations as an individual. As a result, ‘Black Boy’ is hooky slice of soulful house, binded by an irresistible groove that’s laced with striking strings to captivate the dance floor!

Peven Everett is one of a few in this day and age where he writes and performs all of music in the studio as well as multi-tasking on his spectacular live shows worldwide. Coming from a very musical family, he was performing from the age of 3 and by the time he was 10 years old was fluent in Drums, Guitar, Bass, flute, piano, trombone and trumpet, and after a spell in NYC where his talent was nurtured by Betty Carter, he has been working in music ever since. Peven was responsible for one of the biggest records in the UK Garage Movement, the now classic ‘Gabrielle’ on XL Recordings (1997).
Peven has never been signed but, he has provided a plethora of compilations and albums worldwide. Peven released his debut album ‘Studio Confessions’ in 2002 on ABB Soul which featured soulful hits ‘Testin Me’, ‘Everyday Girl’ and ‘World Love’. Since then he has released ‘Kissing Game’ (Kindred Sprits), ‘Easy Livin’ (Unified), ‘Power Soul’ (Soul Heaven),‘Party Of The Year’ (Trippin Records) and ‘Beyond The Universe’, on Studio Confession & Tribe Records (UK) in 2010. ‘Medicine Man’, the Latest title as well as ‘Amuse Bouche’ by Peven’s artist Billie Jewell. Peven continues to write music everyday but has also launched his own brand of wearable art named Everart©.
Swiss DJ/Producer/Remixer Mark Stone first began djing in 1994 in Basel and soon began a residency at the legendary After Hours Club, alongside the likes of Mandrax, Boris Dlugosch, Terry Hunter and David Morales. Whilst working in the local record shop, Mark was at the source for imports and promotional records and was perfectly armed to play in the best clubs all over the country. At the end of 2003 he co-founded the weekly UDM Radio Show With Valentino UDM. The show went ON AIR in April 2004 showcasing the hottest new soulful house cuts and guest mixes from world class DJ’s. Mark’s first hand at producing came by way of remixes for Michael Watford‘s ‘As’ and Dawn Tallman’s ‘Now That I Found You’ for Equal Records Italy. In 2008 he and Valentino launched UDM Show Records releasing soulful House Music from Kenny Bobien, Cinnamon Brown and now, Peven Everett. As the UDM frontman, Mark plays parties all over the world from Miami to the Southport Weekender festivals, as well as promoting the Label Parties “UDM Show LIVE!” Swiss born DJ/Producer Terry Lex is an A&R Director of Labels Major Music, Push On Music and Starmate Records started his DJ career in the early 90’s playing UK Garage, Progressive and Acidhouse. Terry is a versatile talent, who is just as at home producing or Djing soulful house as he is with progressive house. He has worked with Kenny Bobien, Matt Caseli, Aston Martinez, Marco Berto, Shane D, Booker T and has remixed for Labels Soul Heaven, Daddy Funk, Soulheat, Soul Deluxe). Mark & Terry first began working together in the studio in 2011 with Deepvoice ‘Come My Way’ (Mark Stone & Terry Lex Mixes) for Push on Music. Since then they have gone on to remix and produce tracks including Neil Pierce feat. Adeola Shyllon ‘Love Therapy’, Kenny Bobien ‘You’re Gonna Make It’ and their current production with Cinammon Brown ‘This Pressure’.
