It’s time for WMC again and Manuel De La Mare is ready to rock and rule.
Italian born producer/DJ, Manuel De Le Mare has spent the past years delivering money-shot releases and remixes, whilst marrying a lifetime of passion and dedication to his love of DJing. This ability within his musical sphere has pricked the interest of global artists like Mark Knight, John Acquaviva and Feddle Le Grand who have all requested his studio talents, whilst leading Beatport to bestow him the award of ‘Best Remixer 2011’, a suitable follow up on his nomination for ‘Best Deep House and Techno Artist’ back in 2010.
With his music growing in stature on ever release, the demand with his bookings has not been far behind. Already a familiar face at global venues like Ministry of Sound in London, Womb in Tokyo and Fabrik in Madrid, Space Ibiza, Amnesia Miami and Ultra Music Festival and Global Gathering. Manuel has managed to procure a global fan base that has enabled him to perform his music throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, as well as North and South America.
His sound stretches somewhere between house and progressive, whilst respectfully treading the line between commercial and credible underground.
The strength of his own recording label, which he runs with Alex Kenji and Luigi Rocca, is a testament to his intelligent foresight within his music. In a little under five years, 303Lovers and Hotfingers have both respectively find themselves being earmarked by major players like Richie Hawtin, Mark Knight, John Acquaviva, UMEK and Tiësto, Pete Tong, Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez, Axwell, David Guetta as a solid source of good quality electronic music.
“So is time for WMC again, it already started last weekend, but I was in tour in Japan, so I just had to wait a few more days till this Wednesday!
Miami represents something very special to me, it was the first place where I flew EVER, was 2008 and since then I never stopped flying!
I went there with Alex Kenji trying to show to the world what we was doing with 303lovers, we heard big things about Miami and all was much better then what we could ever expect.
I remember an amazing Beatport pool party where Mark Knight and Richie Hawtin were playing, one of the most music-meaningful sunset: YekeYeke, The man with the red face…
This year I will play again at Ultra music festival at Toolroom stage together with Alex and Luigi, I will play for Robbie Rivera at the super famous Juicy Beach, at Nikki and I’m so looking forward to play at all other events I’ve in my diary for this intense WMC.
I will meet again many many friends, will listen so much fresh music, and hopefully will have the time to get some tan! See you there!”
