The Barclaycard Arctic Disco line ups announced including intimate sunset acoustic show with Kasabian

The Barclaycard Arctic Disco line ups announced including intimate sunset acoustic show with Kasabian Hold on to your hats and scarves, full line ups and tickets for The Barclaycard Arctic Disco are about to be unveiled, at 2pm CET this Wednesday, 27th Feb.

Have you ever partied so close to the stars that you can almost touch them? Danced the night away inside a real igloo complete with two dance areas, a chill out space fitted with luxurious fur rugs and three bars sculptured entirely from ice and snow (including the furniture)? Sipped hot gluhwein and special cocktails whilst world class DJs spin tunes to get your snow boots thumping? No? Well here’s your chance…

Snowbombing is set to present the most memorable gig of the year: Kasabian playing at sunset in an igloo village on top of a snow-covered Austrian mountain!

One of the world’s most acclaimed live bands, Kasabian will be headlining a once in a lifetime intimate open air show outside the Barclaycard Arctic Disco, 6000 feet up in the mountains, surrounded by razor sharp ridges and an epic panorama. The Barclaycard Arctic Disco is a venue like no other.

This year with Barclaycard’s help, Snowbombing’s iconic igloo parties just got even cooler… Barclaycard will be offering an exclusive Barclaycard PayBand experience including a check-in service, a return ride on the Ahorn cable car, tickets to The Barclaycard Arctic Disco, an official cashless wristband complete with complimentary drinks and other special snowbound surprises.

For the very first time Snowbombing and Barclaycard are releasing the line ups to each igloo session before the festival starts, giving you the chance to pick your preferred party ticket and gain access to whichever event tickles your musical fancy.

So make your choices…

On Sunday 31st March James Zabiela will deliver some mountain-top Tech House.

Monday 1st April sees man of the moment Eats Everything slipping on his (ever-expanding) salopettes and playing back to back with original Dirtybird Justin Martin.

On Wednesday 3rd April we will be blessed with the presence of Mr Good Times himself, Norman Jay MBE, who will be bringing his mountain top sound system to the summit of the Ahorn to host a full-on Carnival party in an igloo – when was the last time you saw that?

On Thursday 4th April, Kasabian’s one-off acoustic performance will take place at sunset on a specially constructed stage on top of the Ahorn mountain. An exclusive experience witnessed by only 300 golden ticket holders, this is destined to be one of the most memorable gigs of 2013. The intimate performance will be followed by an after-show party inside the Barclaycard Arctic Disco with some very special guest DJs gracing the decks.

To finish the week off, Saturday 6th April will see Krafty Kutz and A-Skills battling it out to make sure The Barclaycard Arctic Disco ends with a BANG!

The Barclaycard Arctic Disco will also be open from 12-16.15 each day, showcasing DJs such as Krankbrothers and Ame, giving you the chance to dance in the Spring sunshine against a breathtaking mountainous backdrop or to take in in the stunning views from the comfort of a deck chair snuggled beneath a fur lined rug.

Tickets to The Barclaycard Arctic Disco evening parties are available to all Snowbombing customers, whether you have booked an accommodation package or a wristband only. Just log in and add them to your booking as an extra at
